I find world and society so amusing! People do things only to show to the world that their life and family is as desired by the society. It is as per the norms and standards laid by society. But in the process, lives are spoiled, ruined and people move away from true happiness. Cheating and such crimes shift but nonetheless, continue but under the surface and hidden from society's and others' eyes. Let me explain with a story.
I was working for a Nepali organization. There were two businessmen who owned the company. One was an IT person and SEO expert. The other elderly guy was the investor and owned a bag sales shop in Nepal. He had a wife and two children.
The IT person's younger sister was also working in the same firm. She was young. And it so happened that the elderly businessman started a relationship with the younger sister of his business partner. It was an illicit relationship since the elderly man was already married with two kids.
One fine day, the younger business partner came to know about his business partner and sister's love affair. He went home and pressurized his sister to get married to the man the family found for her. However, he did not break his partnership with the elderly man.
The sister did get married to the man that her family chose for her. But the relationship with the elderly man continues to date.
So you see, first the two were cheating the elderly man's wife and the woman's family. Now, the cheating of the elderly man's wife continues. She is still oblivious of her husband's infidelity.
But now, a new man has been added in the cheating list. This person is the new husband of the woman. There has been a shift of cheating from her family to that of her in-laws.
Everything on the surface looks so nice: two businessmen and their well-settled society-approved families. But inside, it is murky. Infidelity, cheating, unhappiness, hate. Some day, all this will come out in a more ugly form. Only wait and watch!!! Then the pativrata (loyal) wife of the elderly man would be alone in this world despite having everyone around: husband, kids! All out together would not be able to make her happy!!!
