Why Indian men fail to get brides for themselves?

World gender ratio is 101 males to 100 females. In the USA, 49.5% are males and 50.47% are females. In Canada, there see 985 males to every 1000 females.

In Gulf nations, males are more than females but this is due to the huge male temporary immigrants there. There are three males to every woman in Qatar.

Overall, there are 943 females per 1000 males in India. Kerala has more girls whereas Haryana has the least at 849 females per 1000 males. In Punjab it is 895 females to 1000 males at birth.

In India, there are 110 boys for every 100 females at birth. This ratio reverses in above 65 years of age with women outnumbering men due to longer female life expectancy.

Reasons for males in India, especially in Punjab and Haryana, unable to find wives for themselves

1. Female foeticide practised illegally despite government laws in place.

2. Female infanticide.

3. Less foods to females and malnutrition and early deaths

4. Rapes and rape deaths.

5. Singlehood on the rise due to rampant cases of domestic violence in Indian culture.

6. Maternal deaths and widowers marrying again another young female.

7. Male divorcees remarrying another younger female.

8. Widows/female divorcees not marrying by choice or not allowed to marry

9. One man having multiple female partners illegally.

10. Females marrying males outside their religion/country.

Hence, in theory there may be 110 men to 100 women at birth. But as age progresses, lesser women are available for men to get married to. Hence, there is paucity of women for marriage and grooms in India, especially in North India do not get brides for themselves. Sad. And governments do not want to legalize sex toys.

On the other hand, men life span is less, they get premature heart attacks these days and many boys die of accidents, suicides, drowning, drug addiction. It may be their adventurous lives but it may also be the superpower's ways to balance the society -created imbalance of gender ratio.

Gender equality is vital, but gender inequality is a man-made problem of the regressive patriarchal society of India. And it is only the super power who will equalize things because law makers are only busy fighting amongst themselves, creating Hindu -Muslim divide, increasing capitalism, and brushing their own self-inflated egos. What a shame!
