Uttarakhand Transport Corporation: the worst and hopeless transport service in the world!

Have you ever had the misfortune to travel in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) buses? If no, then you are the most lucky person on Earth. If yes, then you will agree 100% to what I write below.

UTC administration and employees including most drivers and conductors lack professionalism. They are rustic, ill-mannered, stupid, and unhelpful.

Stupid- They lack sense of understanding. Their buses are unclean and in a shattered condition. They are stupid enough to not carry passengers for short distances. Their saying is that we will carry long distance passengers to earn more money. But  they do not see the glaring point that they could have earned at least some money on the empty seats instead of losing all the money on it. Sad that they are so low witted.

Proud-The drivers and conductors think they own the bus. They boast and talk with pseudo pride. They carry that air around them which is fake. They should know that buses are public property and they do not own them. They are just using them to ply passengers.

Unhelpful-They do not want to ferry short distance passengers. But then the UTC bus service is so haphazard and poor, that it never caters properly to passenger needs. And they do not want to improve. Give them feedbacks and they do not want to act on it.

Rude-The staff employed are extremely rude and impolite and ill-mannered. They have no etiquettes and courtesy to talk to ladies especially elderly ladies.

I wonder why is that place called devbhoomi!!! People of UTC are so inhumane that it should be called by the opposite name now!!!

If this bad behavior starts from the senior management, they ought to be ashamed of themselves. And if the indecency is at the lower level, then also the top management should be ashamed of themselves for not supervising their juniors well and for not teaching them etiquettes and manners.

And mind you, UTC is in debt. It has not enough money to pay even its employees. And despite that, they make no efforts to improve their business routes or services. This speaks of their low intelligence.

The UTC should know that customers are their Gods. And they have to behave and talk well with them. Otherwise that day is not far when they will have to close their business and put a big lock on it.

I will not be exaggerating when I say that the neighboring country of Nepal is poor. But its bus drivers and conductors are 100 times better than these UTC staff. The former are helpful, polite and sane. Instead of boasting and having egos, learn something from Nepal. Is UTC listening???
