US First Lady, Melania Trump wants to make the most of her last Christmas at the White House. After her husband Donald Trump’s defeat at Presidential elections 2020, she will have to leave the White House this January. And she has made the White House Christmas décor this year on the theme America is Beautiful. Sounds nice! She also said that this is her tribute to the greatness and majesty of the nation. 125 volunteers took part to deck up the whole area and decorated the area from East Room to the Red Room.

“I am excited to announce this year's
White House holiday theme, 'America the Beautiful',"
“It
is a tribute to the majesty of our great Nation."
"From
coast to coast, the bond that all Americans share is an appreciation for our
traditions, values and history, which were the inspiration behind the
decorations this year,"
THE DECORATION DETAILS
On the East Wing when the visitors enter they are greeted by The Gold Star Family Tree. This is a traditional part of the decorations. It is draped in blue and symbolizes justice and perseverance. It is a tribute to the national heroes and also their families who also bear with them and support them. And this year, there was something special. The families who decorated this tree wrote the name of their fallen family member on a ribbon and these ribbons would be put on the tree.
