Andre 3000: Relationships and career!

Andre 3000 is an American rapper who hails from Atlanta and is part of the South hip hop duo Outkast along with Big Boi. He has several successful albums to his credit. His personal life has also been quite colorful with more than a dozen relationships until now.

Andre 3000 and his career

Andre 3000 was born on 27 May 1975 in the USA in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up enjoying music. He was the only child of his parents but raised by a single mom. At school, he met Big Boi and both firmed a team to create music and rap.

The record label LaFace signed their music group Outkast and in 1994 came their first album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. It was extremely successful and gave the pair a boost and several awards.

They experimented with sound and created two more albums in 1996 and 1998. Their single, Ms. Jackson was number one on Billboard’s top 100 music list.

Andre went solo from 2007. He made good music and also collaborated with other famous singers of his time.

Andre’s relationships

Andre had multiple relationships until now. He was in a marital relationship with American singer Erykah Badu, 53 from 1996 to 1997. They have a child together: son Seven Sirius Benjamin who is now 24 years old.

Andre was with the singer of the Total Girl group, Keisha Spivey, 53 in 1999 for less than one year. She went on to marry American actor and singer, Omar Epps in 2006.

Andre was with actress and writer, Karrine Steffans, 45 in 2001. They reunited in 2007 for few months before splitting again. He also dated American singer cum songwriter Joi Gilliam, 53 in 2001.

The rapper also was in relationship with Dallas, TX actress Tiffany Limos, 44 in 2002, with American actress Shannyn Sossamon, 45 in 2003 and with American TV personality, Sky Nellor, 53 in 2003 and 2004. He also dated Tiffany again in 2008. He has also romanced American rapper, Da Brat, 50, TV personality, Shay Johnson, 40 and American filmmaker, Vashtie Kola, 43.

In late 2000s, Andre had a romantic involvement with model and actress from Canada, Melyssa Ford, 47. The two were spotted on several occasions in 2008 but later, this stopped. He had a relationship with Dominique Maldonado, a music executive and manager in 2017 and later, also they were together at Catch LA in February 2022.

Andre has also hooked up with American model, Tila Tequila, 42.
