Josh Lazie Resnik: Early life, career, and relationship history of this former boyfriend and ex-fiance of actress Kaley Cuoco

 Josh Resnik name may not sound so familiar. But he is part of the music industry who later became an addiction specialist. He gained fame as the former boyfriend and ex-fiance of American actress, Kaley Cuoco. 

Josh Resnik and his early life

Josh Resnik is popularly called Josh 'Lazie' Resnik. He was born on 19 March 1968 in Los Angeles, CA, the USA. Thus, his current age is 54 years. There are no available details about his parents or siblings. There is no info on his education. He holds an American nationality. But his ethnicity remains unclear. The surname Resnik probably means that Josh is of Jewish descent. 

Josh currently resides in Shady Cove in Oregon. He has a son from a previous relationship. His name is Tocco Damus Resnik. Josh now is also a grandfather. The grandson is Sonny Bones Resnik.

Josh and his career

Josh has pursued multiple careers in his lifetime. His Instagram profile reveals some of them.  Josh is a former shark diver and photojournalist. He is also a former conflict photographer, as per his Twitter profile. 

Josh worked as a musician too. He was part of the music group Danzig in the 1990s. After Joey Castillo joined the band, Josh was his drum technician. He was also the band manager for many years. He also became the bass technician for band member Eerie Von. When Eerie left, Josh was invited to join the band. Later, he left the band in 1997 for 1.5 years. During that time, he ran a coffee shop. He played for several Los Angeles bands during that period. Josh also played for Oblivion Dust from Japan. And he also had for a brief time a band with Max from Sepultura. 

Josh rejoined Danzig in 1998. He acted in the band's music video of song Five Finger Crawl in the album 6:66 Satan's Child that released in 1999. He quit Danzig in 2000.

Later, he turned his direction elsewhere and became an addiction specialist. 

Josh and his relationships

Josh was earlier in a relationship with a woman whose full name is not known. But she is put as DD Lazie on the internet. He has a son with her. The son's name is Tocco Damus Resnik. 

Later in 1988, he was with Sara Lee Daugherty. It is not clear when they dated or split. Josh began dating Janine Lindemulder in December 2004. The couple lived in Hawaii. But separation came in 2008. 

In July 2011, Josh started dating actress Kaley Cuoco. There was an 18 years gap between the two. Later in October 2011, Josh proposed to her and she said yes. Her rep told People:

“The surprise proposal took place during a quiet date night at home,” 

“The couple are very happy and excited to begin planning their wedding.”

Kaley had shared with her fans on Twitter about her engagement. She thanked her fans and wrote:

"Thanks to everyone's well wishes! So sweet and means a lot to us! #ecstatic."

But in March 2012, the engagement was called off. An insider confirmed this sad news with People. Earlier, ET also reported on this. In an interview with ET, Kaley was asked about her co-star Kunal Nayyar's recent wedding. The reporter wanted to know whether she had made any wedding plans with Josh. And Kaley replied:

 “I’m not engaged anymore, so no…But in general, yes. For my future wedding, yes."
