Gregory Stanton predicts genocide of Indian Muslims! Is UN listening?

 Genocide Watch president Gregory Stanton had predicted that there would be a genocide in Rwanda. And it happened five years later. Now, the same person is predicting that a mass genocide is going to take place in the South Asian land of India. He stated this in a US Congressional briefing on 12 January 2022.

A hate campaign against Indian Muslims has been started by the current ruling party of BJP. They are poisoning young minds and using this as a vote bank to gain power. Genocide Watch president Gregory Stanton had predicted about the genocide in Rwanda 5 years before it actually happened. And he has made a prediction about similar genocide on the soil of India. During the recent briefing at US Congress on 12 January 2022, Gregory stated:

“We are warning that genocide could very well happen in India,”

He added that the current PM of India had discriminated Muslim leaders of Kashmir and badly handled the situation. He suppressed voices of dissent with a heavy hand and has killed many innocent people there. Similar thing happened in Assam. All this was against democracy. He would leave no stone unturned to kill the Muslims there. And all this he would do with a "make believe that he is a democratic leader".  Hidden agendas are worse than open warfare.Gregory added:

“We should be aware that genocide is not an event. It is a process. There are early signs and processes of genocide in both of those places,”

Talking about mass killing of 1000 Muslims in Gujarat in 2002,  Gregory said:

“At that time, the chief minister of Gujrat was Narendra Modi, and he did nothing. In fact, there’s a lot of evidence that he actually encouraged those massacres,”

He continued:

"What we have now is an actual member of the RSS, this extremist Hindutva-oriented group, [with] Mr. Modi as prime minister of India. What we have here is an extremist who has taken over the government,”

What prompted Gregory to say so?

The world is fully aware that India has slipped into the hands of a party that holds anti-Muslim hate. They have got into power based not on merit but based on religion. They are using religion to remain in power.

Recently in Haridwar city, religious party members close to the riling party gathered in December 2021. They pledged to finish the Muslims residing in India in order to convert the place from a secular nation to a pro-Hindu one. A video released of the event shows a member of a Hindu nationalist political party, Pooja Shakun Pandey uttering the following words of hate:

“If 100 of us are ready to kill two million of them, then we will win and make India a Hindu nation.” 

Hindu monk Yati Narsinghanand Giri was present at this conference and encouraged collected members to take up arms against the innocent Muslims. On 15 January 2022, police arrested Yati for his derogatory comments against women. And now there could be added charges of incitement. 

Gregory and his previous prediction

In 1989, Gregory had issued a warning about likely genocide in Rwanda. He had told former Rwandan president Juvénal Habyarimana:

“If you don’t do something to prevent genocide in your country, there is going to be a genocide here within five years.” 

And in 1994, extremists of the Hutu ethnic majority murdered 800k Rwandan civilians, belonging to the country’s Tutsi population.
