Indoor plants that add beauty and enrich your life and home!

Humans love greenery and nature. Lockdown was a time when people had some time at hand to do some gardening. In urban houses with limited places outside, these activities had to be carried out within the confines of their homes. Indoor plants growing add to the beauty of your house and also are good for health. They purify the air and enhance our mental health. But which indoor plants are good?

1. Snake plants: The snake plants add beauty and come with the advantage of minimum maintenance requirements. Occasional watering suffices. 

2. Heart leaf philodendron: The leaves are heart-shaped. Sunshine and watering requirements are minimal. It also takes up formaldehyde from the air and purifies it. 

3. English Ivy: This plant also is an air cleanser absorbing formaldehyde, benzene, silene, toluene and such toxins from the air. It also needs less sunshine and water for growth.

4. Golden pothos: It is another wonder plant that looks awesome. It also takes up carbondioxide, formaldehyde, and benzene from air. It is trailing plant and is also called cubicle plant. It is less fussy and grows under any circumstances. Maintenance is minimal but regular water need is present. 

5. Spider plant: It is a hanging plant. In its early stage, it needs fair amount of sunshine and water. It purifies air and is good for bedroom. 

6. Rubber plant: It has thick and luscious leaves and purifies the air. It too needs less sunshine, less water, and less maintenance. 

7. Gardenia: Is a flowering plant. It needs good amount of sun energy for growth. Once it takes root, watering once a week suffices. It de-stresses and promotes sleep. It is good for the bedroom.

8. Many other ornamental plants also increase beauty of the interiors.
