Will Michael Flynn get a Presidential pardon from Donald Trump!

 Three independent sources told CNN that there have been discussions in White House about pardoning Michael Flynn and others. Michael Flynn was the first national security adviser for 22 days when Donald Trump took office in 2016. But whether Donald Trump changes his mind on them is to be seen!

CNN has reported that three independent sources have revealed that there have been some discussions in the White House that Donald Trump could forgive Michael Flynn and others. But the sources also warned that though there has been some talk about it in the meetings; it is highly likely that Donald Trump might change his mind on it.

Michael Flynn was the first security adviser at the national level when Donald Trump assumed office in 2016. Michael was a Trump campaign associate as well but he resigned after his conviction under the investigation of special counsel Robert Mueller. The others who are on the pardon list include George Papadopoulos and Paul Manafort.

The defeated President of the USA, Donald Trump has been crying his lungs out falsely that his election campaign was a thing of a target. He had also said that his campaign associates had fallen into trouble because of their association with him and it was none of their faults. The President has the power to pardon people and this could be the first time that Donald Trump might exercise it to get forgiveness for a high-profile person.

Earlier, he had pardoned people based on personal connections, as a mark of showmanship, and a no-want to go through long official government channels. These people who got the benefit of a pardon from Donald Trump had used the help of friends, Hollywood celebrities, or Fox News personalities to procure pardon. And thus, Joe Arpaio (former Arizona Sheriff), Dinesh D’souza (right-wing commentator), and Michael Milken (financier convicted of securities fraud) managed to procure pardon this way. Kim had also approached Donald Trump for the pardon of one of her friends. Roger Stone who was convicted in Robert Mueller conviction also got a pardon from Donald Trump.

MICHAEL FLYNN AND HIS TENURE

The former national security adviser, Michael Flynn was caught when he made a public lie about the Russian contacts that he had. He was convicted in the investigation and on day 22 resigned from the post. In late 2017, he had pleaded guilty and admitted that he had lied to the FBI contacts. But he did not stop at that and made attempts to have the case thrown out. And this spring, the Justice Department abandoned the case but it is still in legal limbo. Somehow, Michael has managed to not have a sentence on him until now.

Donald Trump has been making a persistent effort to disapprove the role of Russia in his 2016 election win. He has also been trying to create a gap between the judges and the prosecutors on this case. The court was not held for a long time due to the coronavirus case. But the last that it had met, the Judge was angry with Michael and his lies and probable treason!
