Elon Musk has clinical COVID-19 despite varied results!

 Tesla CEO, Elon Musk has probably a moderate infection with COVID-19. He responded to a Twitter user who asked him whether he has contracted the coronavirus infection.

The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, 49 has contracted the deadly virus circulating in the world. He was replying to one of his followers on Twitter. The social media user asked: 

"u got covid or nah."

And Elon replied: 

"Am getting wildly different results from different labs, but most likely I have a moderate case of covid. My symptoms are that of a minor cold, which is no surprise, since a coronavirus is a type of cold."

This he said over the weekend. But on Friday, the CEO said that he was tested on 4 occasions and the results were all varying. Elon tweeted:

"Something extremely bogus is going on. Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD."

Earlier, he had revealed that he has a little up and down of symptoms. He felt it as a common cold but there is more body ache and he also has a cloudy head. The cough and sneezing is less.

Elon also stated that at the same time of the day, he had done tests from different labs. He revealed that an RN did the tests on him and he has asked for N1 gene PCR cycle threshold. He added that there was no official standard for the PCR tests. He said that people are not aware of this limitation of the tests. PCR tests are considered more accurate than the rapid tests.

This was a special weekend for his company since he was launching the first operational flight of its Crew Dragon aircraft with NASA. He is still recuperating.

Elon and his earlier say on COVID-19

The CEO of SpaceX had earlier said that he will not take the covid-19 vaccine whenever it becomes available. This was his statement in October 2020. He had also added that his kids will also not take it. He had boldly said that he will not be getting the virus and that he is not bothered even if he does. In his words:

"I’m not at risk for COVID, nor are my kids."

Besides, he was always against the lockdown for covid-19. He had said: 

"Reopen with care & appropriate protection, but don't put everyone under de facto house arrest,"

He had said that only the high-risk group should be quarantined. And Elon had added:

"Essentially, the right thing to do would be to not have done a lockdown for the whole country."

He had said that lockdown is a no-win situation. He added that he would ask those workersat high risk to stay at home. But he did not answer whether he would pay them or not.
