Patriarchy is a curse for the world, especially for countries with a highly regressive culture such as India.
In patriarchy, sons and men dominate and girls, daughters and women are oppressed. Girls and women are exploited and used as a commodity for sexual gratification and happiness and procreation of men's family. I say men's family because there is no obvious mention of the wife's or mother's name anywhere in the records or in writing. Her identity is suppressed for sake of procreating and running the lineage of men. Shameful.
Women are not valued and treated as second grade citizens. Their voices are deliberately unheard or suppressed by force, intimidation, fear, threat, and coercion. Men are highly regarded even if they do bad things. They do not seek permission before doing these acts. Because the family and society have reared them badly. They gangrape. They do extramarital affairs. They have mass and universal pardon for it. While girls have to seek permission even for good deeds such as primary or higher education for self. They are not allowed to do it. They continue to lead a life of liability even in adulthood. Pathetic The house chores that a woman does is unpaid. Basically, a woman is only used by family and society. The society remains deaf, blind and dumb to all the injustices against women and girls. Selfishness.
To join this gang is also the girl's and woman's biological family who prefer to keep mum when there is ongoing injustice against their daughter. They remain selfish and concerned only about their honor that society has ingrained into them. Sadly, women also do not support women and are infact pitched against each other.

All this needs to stop for welfare of women and happiness of society. Girls and women need to get equal status in society. Gender inequality should go. It is bad not only for female gender but also for male gender, children and society. The society remains impoverished and reproductive and physical and mental health of all suffer.
Matriarchy is better than patriarchy. But in that, men feel useless. If they do not like matriarchy, how do they expect women to patriarchy?
Abolish patriarchy and bring in gender equality for true happiness and well-being of society.
