Dogs will never bite if.....

There is such an unnecessary hue and cry in India over dog bites. It starts from higher up level to down. Supreme court judges are as ignorant on this subject as most common people. I wonder why people and judges cannot look at facts before making foolish, irrelevant and laughable judgements.

First and foremost thing to know is that dogs are living beings and God's creations. They have feelings and emotions but the only problem is that they cannot talk. But they can communicate via other means which you can understand if you make attempts and love them.

We have encroached on the land of dogs and it is not the other way around.

Dogs too want families. Stop harassing them on it.

Dogs are loyal and love everyone. They just want lots of love and a little food in return. Can humans not give them even this little thing to them?

Dogs are not stray dogs. Poor souls live on streets. They are community dogs and belong to all humans. Treat them lovingly.

If you vaccinate all dogs well, you need not worry about dog bites. You will not get rabies from vaccinated dogs.

Most important point to note is that dogs bites are always defensive in nature. They never initiate the fight. They will always love those who love them and take care of them. Talk to them with gestures and they understand you.

Give a little food to them daily and they will become your friends in the long run. They like non veg, milk, oiled and crisp wheat flat breads, raw eggs, sometimes sweet items too. Many love chew sticks of mutton or chicken. 1 chewstick costs just INR 2/- and gives them 50-100 kcals. A regular dog needs 600-700 kcals per day.

If a dog's stomach is full, it will never be aggressive. Dogs get agressive when hungry.

Dogs never bite on their own. They bite if instigated. This happens especially when you or your children ill-treat them. Don't pull their tails or throw stones at them. Don't harm them. Restrain your children from hurting them. If your child hurts them and the dog bites, the fault lies in your child and you.

Treat and feed them well....love them ...make them belong to the community....and they will never bite. Hurt them or don't feed them and they will bite.
