Rather sad to learn that a superior court in India passed some anti-dog verdict recently. The verdict revealed how uncompassionate people and courts are in that land!

It is rather sad that such a ruthless judgement comes from a court where the judges are supposed to be intellectuals.
But let me tell these judges that these are 'not stray dogs'. They are 'street dogs' or 'community dogs'.
These dogs are moral support. They never bite unless you ill-treat or harm them or their family. They too want families just like humans do. They understand love and will repay you more than what you give them. They are honest. They will not have rabies if you vaccinate them well. Their population will not grow if you do family control programs on them. Their population will not grow and they will remain healthy if you spend the donated money on them properly instead of pocketing the donated money for self-use.
Dogs will never bite if you are kind to them and feed them. They are part of cities and part of your ecosystem. Instead of feeding and giving alms to human beggars, use that money to feed dogs. And you will see how you are bestowed with their love and true happiness.
Stop your children from hurting them. Stop your children from throwing stones at them or pulling their tails. Teach your children to love and feed dogs.
Treat them as community dogs and not stray dogs. It is the duty of each and every citizen to feed them. Don't stop others who feed them. If you cannot do it, let others do it. Bring your compassion to the front. Look into their eyes. You will notice so much sadness.
If dogs are fed and satisfied, if dogs get an amicable environment, they will never bark or bite. That's the essence and way to live.
Not make laws that harm them. They are lower animals and God's creations. Respect them. Love them. Play with them. Don't threaten them.
