 Two-stone engagement rings are a fashion these days. They are popular with celebrities and many are flaunting it with ease and pride. American actress Megan Fox is the latest to join this gang of women who preferred a two-tone engagement ring rather than a solitaire.

Actress Megan Fox and rapper Machine Gun Kelly started dating in early 2020 and now after 2 years of a wonderful courtship, he proposed to her with a two-stone engagement ring that has a clear diamond and a green-colored stone. Jeweler Stephen Webster designed and created it for the couple. Emerald is the birthstone of Megan born in May and Diamond is for Machine's birth month namely April. These two stones are set in a thorn-like band. Machine explained in a video posted on his Instagram:

"draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."

Other celebrities with twin-jewel engagement rings

Megan is not the first one to go for this unique 2-stone engagement ring. Seventy years ago, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy had an engagement ring that had an emerald cut emerald and an emerald cut diamond placed side by side. It was from Van Cleef & Arpels. Nowadays, an increasing number of celebrities are opting for this two stones in engagement ring. Model Emily Ratajkowski had given her inputs in the design of her two-diamond engagement ring from Sebastian Bear-McClard. One diamond was pear shaped and the second had a princess cut. Both were set on a gold band. People are adding meaning to their engagement rings. She told Vogue that she liked the concept of having two gems in the ring rather than a lone one. She liked the feminity of the pear shape and the architecture of the princess cut stone. 

Singer Adriana Grande had a double stone engagement ring. The band was of gold with a large oval diamond set diagonally and another was a pristine round pearl. Her husband, Dalton Gomez designed it along with jeweller Jack Solow.

Nowadays, celebrities add meaning to their engagement ring. They feel that since they are a couple, the engagement ring should also represent them and their union.
