Frank Lampard faces sacking as manager of the Chelsea football team!

 News is that Frank Lampard has been removed from the position of Chelsea manager. Actually, the owners of the team sacked him. Why?

All is not well for former Chelsea manager,  Frank Lampard at the professional front. The team owners have sacked him. The former player was with the team for 18 months. They issued the following statement:

 "This has been a very difficult decision, and not one that the owner and the board have taken lightly.

"We are grateful to Frank for what he has achieved in his time as head coach of the club. However, recent results and performances have not met the club's expectations, leaving the club mid-table without any clear path to sustained improvement.

"There can never be a good time to part ways with a club legend such as Frank, but after lengthy deliberation and consideration it was decided a change is needed now to give the club time to improve performances and results this season."

Frank and his career with Chelsea 

Chelsea is in position 9 in the Premier League table. The team has won only one of the five matches with the league. Their performance has been poor. 

Frank had taken charge in July 2019. In the first season with them,  he guided them to the Champions League qualification. The team was at the top in December but after that it's performance fell dramatically. Chelsea owner Roman Abramowitz said:

"This was a very difficult decision for the club, not least because I have an excellent personal relationship with Frank and I have the utmost respect for him.

"He is a man of great integrity and has the highest of work ethics. However, under current circumstances we believe it is best to change managers."

Frank's final match was last weekend at Luton for the 3-1 FA Cup. Now,  Thomas Tucker 2ill take charge of the football team after Frank exit. 

Frank and his life 

Frank is aged 42 and was born on 20 June and 1978. It was, in Romford in London. He is one of the greatest football player of his time and was an excellent midfielder. But as a head coach and manager,  somehow he could not perform well. 

It was in 1995 that he started his career with West Ham United where his dad Frank Lampard Sr. also played. He has many titles to his name. He is one of nine players but the only midfielder to acquire more than the 150 goals in Premier League. 

Frank has two children with his former fiancee, Spanish model Elen Rivas. They are Luna,  15 and Isla,  13. He is now married to Christine Bleakley, a, North Ireland broadcaster. They wed on 20 December 2015. They have a daughter called Patricia, 2.
