 They made a cute couple. But alas their relationship did not last long. I am talking about Ben Affleck and his girlfriend Ana de Armas. They started dating a year back but have now split.

The couple Ben Affleck and his sweetheart Ana de Armas have split, news agencies report. People magazine has reported that the reason for this separation is that the two lovebirds unfortunately are in different stages in their lives. An insider revealed to the media house:

"There is deep love and respect there. Ben continues to want to work on himself. He has three jobs lined up and he's a solid father at home. They are both happy with where they are in their lives,"

There is another source that stated that it was Ana, 32 who decided to call it quits. This insider said:

"Their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn't want to be Los Angeles based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles."

The relationship of the couple

Ana and Ben, 48 are together for almost one year. It was in March 2020 that their relationship first came to light. And a month later, they went Instagram-official about their relationship. Ana uploaded photos of the two celebrating her 32nd birthday together.

The pair was quarantining together during the coronavirus pandemic and also went on a few holidays in between. There were reports that Ben was asking Ana to move in with him. But Ana is busy with her work and career. She has a long list of projects on her list. She is also part of James Bond release No Time to Die and in Russo Brothers' The Gray Man that features Dhanush, Ryan Gosling, and Chris Evans. 

Ben and his previous relationship and family

Ben was earlier married to Jennifer Garner. They started dating in mid-2004. And the two have three children together. They are Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. The couple wed on 29 June 2005 in an intimate ceremony held at Turks and Caicos. They separated in June 2015. Finally, they put in the legal papers for divorce in 2017 in April. It was finalized in 2018 and as per Ben it pained him.

Earlier, he was dating Gwyneth Paltrow (1997 to 2000) and Jennifer Lopez from 2002 to 2004 for 18 months. In November 2002 they engaged to marry but it was called off.
