Powerful vs mature! The world needs 'mature' leaders'!

 Pick up any so-called great nations of the world and you will realize that it is headed by political leaders who are claimed to be powerful! But have these 'powerful leaders' helped their own country or the world in the true sense of the word? They have only been creating hate, divisions in society, biases, and drawing lines between people for their own benefits and vote banks. It has only taken the world to a pitiable state where it is on the brink of destruction and another world war. 

'Powerful' political leaders and the world?

Be it the USA, Russia, Brazil, India, or other countries of the world, one sees that it is headed by leaders who are out to settle some scores with someone. They have a feeling of revenge in them that they have been harboring inside them for many years. They are using this fire of hate to gain the support of their weak-minded countrymen and gain power. They are doing it in the name of patriotism and nationalism.

The USA country head is raging a war against Mexico and the climate change activists. He has other several enemies against whom he wants to fight and Make America great again! What exactly does he mean by that? So indirectly, does he mean that he feels that other countries are less great? In India, the political head is sowing the seeds of hatred against its own citizens but from a different religion. In Brazil, there is a dictator who is unscientific and unknowledgeable. There are similar problems in other countries in the world. But in all these ambitions to be great, are the citizens of the country happy?

Every year, the UN publishes the Happiness Report that is based on the key variables of income, healthy life expectancy, social support, freedom, trust, and generosity. In 2019, the countries that were in the top 5 in this list were Finland, Denmark, Noway, Iceland, and the Netherlands. And the 'great' countries of the world with 'powerful' leaders are nowhere near the top. The USA is in position 19 out of 156, Brazil in position 32, Mauritius in position 57, Pakistan in 67, Serbia in 70, Malaysia in 80, Nigeria in 85, Bhutan in 95, Nepal in 100, Somalia in 112, Kenya in 121, Bangladesh in 125, Iraq in 126, Togo in 139, India at the rear end on position 140, Afghanistan in 154, and South Sudan is in position 156 (the last place).

So it can be seen that while these world leaders claim that they are doing things for their people, actually their acts are in no way helping the people gain happiness. Life is short and has to be made happy as much as possible. When the world leaders are not able to achieve the happiness of their own people, what is the use of them being powerful? Developments do not mean laying down of roads and bridges and new technology and cutting ribbons for the inauguration. It is much more than that and should be 'comprehensive'. True development is when these leaders can ensure peace and happiness for their citizens. Therefore they need to ensure constructive efforts and teamwork and not destruction and internal splits.

The world is in such a mess now. Everywhere there are fights -fights within families, within societies, within states, within countries and with neighbors and other world countries. Everyone is running after something that is just a status symbol and does not guarantee happiness. This something may be money, career goals, material things of life, and may even be someone's assets that they want to snatch. Life has become stressful and the hatred seeds sowed by country leaders further add stress and spread unhappiness around. People have turned puppets of system and slaves of technology! This is what the world leaders and corporate bodies wanted them to become and they are thus successful in their wrong missions. 

One needs to break from all this for that one goal of life-True happiness! The world has many leaders that are claimed to be powerful and ready to give people smart cities! But the world does not need such POWERFUL leaders.

What the world needs are MATURE leaders. Those leaders who can go to the simple basics of life and get that disappeared bit of true happiness for its citizens. It needs those leaders who can stop spreading hate and instead teach their people to love and respect each other. Instead of making things and hence life complicated, such mature leaders would make things easier and simpler for their citizens. We need those leaders who have respected the females in their own house and have some moral sense and duties. The need of the hour is not powerful but mature leaders.
