Bhutan-the beautiful nation! It is the true Paradise of South Asia! It is not only the beauty of Nature there but also the beauty of the people of that country! It is beyond any comparison! There is something mystical and magical about the whole place that reaches deep inside the heart and resides there! The scenic beauty charms you internally and the simple, loving, peaceful, and happy people add on to the fun of visiting this serene land!
The country of Bhutan might seem small areawise but the beauty is immense and the hearts of its people are large. It is rich in breathtaking natural beauty, forests, and great culture and heritage. The pictures of the place will mesmerize you and it is a photographer's paradise. The country is landlocked in the Eastern Himalayas. It is bordered by Tibet Autonomous Region of China, Nepal, and Indian states of Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Assam. Its capital city if Thimphu and the financial hub is Phuntsholing.

The country might still be included in the list of least developed nations but it has some priceless attributes to it that makes it one of the best nations of South Asia. In this area, it is the first to rank in terms of economic freedom, ease of doing business and also peace. It is also the least corrupt nation in the region. By 2023, it hopes that it will be able to come out of the status of a least developed country.
Spring comes in March to May here and this is the best season to visit this heavenly place on Earth. The whole area appears like a carpet of flowers during this season. It is simply a gorgeous view. The Himalayan peaks are also visible from this country and they too look great! The area also becomes home to some lovely migratory birds and they add to its beauty. There are some majestic monasteries and beautiful Buddhist Shrines that are worth a visit. Rivers abound and are extremely clear and clean.

The people of Bhutan are lovely and have a great sense of hygiene. The border town of Phuntsholing is absolutely clean and has a good traffic system. The shops are in order with no road or pavement encroachments. Homes of the people are clean even though smaller. The air is clean and breathable with no pollution. All variety of things are available in this country and there are also foreign goods shops.

Restaurants serve delicious and hygienic foods and local delicacies. The dishes that should be relished on this tour include Ema Datshi (chilis and cheese), Kewa Datshi (potatoes and cheese), Shamu Datshi (mushroom and cheese), Momos or dumplings, and red rice. Their local drink that is novel is Arag or locally brewed ara. It is a fermented drink made out of rice, wheat, millet, and maize. Chinese and Indian dishes are also available. There are some dancing and singing bars as well in this nation.
The people are humble and have smiling faces. The gross national happiness is high and people are satisfied, thanks to the less corrupt governance that is unusual in this region. Most of them are in ethnic wear and it is a lovely sight to see. Some of their towns such as Punakha has retained most of the spiritual and ethnic beauty of this culture. Buddhist and Bhutanese influence can be felt here. Nature is also divine in this town. There is no begging or theft in Bhutan and it is an extremely safe place to travel even alone. People are warm and friendly and hospitable.

Some Bollywood movies such as 15, Park Avenue and Dil Se were shot in Bhutan. Bhutan is a lovely haven for travelers of Nature and is a must to visit!!!
